Bachelor Of Information Technology
The BIT program, which stands for Bachelor of Information Technology, is one of the offered programs at the College of IT & Engineering (CITE) affiliated with Purbanchal University. The BIT program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of information technology.
During the course of the program, students will be exposed to a wide range of subjects related to IT, including computer programming, database management, software development, network administration, web development, artificial intelligence , data warehousing and data mining and information systems. The program aims to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for a career in the field of IT.
By pursuing the BIT program, students can acquire a strong foundation in information technology and gain expertise in areas that are in high demand in today’s technological world. The program’s curriculum is designed to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the IT industry.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have passed +2 or equivalent with the Mathematics subject of 100 marks with D grade from any recognized University with minimum 45% marks or minimum D grade in each subject with GPA 2.00 in aggregate.

Specialization Area:
Specialization area courses have been designed in three major areas for in-depth knowledge in these areas. Students develop specialized expertise in their specialization area.
